What makes our kindergarten program a great place for young learners to grow and thrive?
The ME Kindergarten team is full of joy and a love of learning. Our team works really closely with each other to create a strong classroom and school community. We meet our students where they are and help teach them critical social and academic skills to set them up for lifelong success!

“Our kindergarten program is great for young learners because we encourage learning in non-traditional ways, through music, play, and real-life scenarios.”
-B. Baker
“The teachers are highly motivated to focus on social-emotional skills and cooperative learning. We don’t want to just tell Scholars what to do; we desire for them to understand what a leader looks and feels like when in a group setting. It is when we build trust and effectively communicate in our class family, then we can dive into learning.”
- K. Berrios
How do we ensure students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn every day?
“We create a strong class community by inviting students to share how they want our school to feel and help them name the rules, routines, and rewards that are aligned with their vision. “
-K. Doyle
“We hold Scholars accountable with a Classroom Charter that the Scholars collectively collaborated on that expresses how they WANT TO FEEL and HOW THEY WILL HELP OTHERS FEEL THAT WAY.”
-K. Berrios
“In order to ensure that every student feels safe, supported, and excited to learn, we have created a community environment where we go over our classroom rules throughout the day. We encourage our students to advocate for themselves and solve problems with their peers' in a respectful way.”
